Today my best friend in the whole world came over and we tried to make prepackaged chocolate chip cookies in the shapes of duckies and stars and hearts, only I didn’t soften the butter enough and we couldn’t mix the batter well and it stuck to the rolling pin and when we baked them they didn’t look like those shapes anymore and they tasted awful and we laughed the entire time, especially when I did something really really weird that made us drop to the floor and I thought I’d never stop laughing or get up or be able to look at her again, and then we laid in my bed and watched Criminal Minds.
Days with her are the best.
